The Utah Department of Transportation has begun construction of an animal crossing bridge over I-80 just west of Parleys Summit. The freeway slices across a migration route for deer and moose creating a deadly hazard for drivers and animals alike. The non-profit group Save People Save Wildlife based in Summit County has worked with the Utah Department of transportation to make the wildlife bridge a reality. The project is expected to be complete in October.
