The Aquarium Age: Nov. 20-26

By Ralfee Finn

It’s an industrial strength astral week, and as a strong “get it done” planetary signature energizes the atmosphere, you’re likely to feel an equally strong desire to move mountains. Have at it—there’s enough of whatever it is that’s needed—physical, mental, emotional and spiritual stamina—to work as hard as necessary to actualize ambitions, whether they are career goals or celebration preparations. For those not inclined toward external enterprise, the same powerful potential can be put to good use reflecting on what’s felt like an extremely long year.

The busy beavers and workaholics can also aim this mighty force toward a prolonged introspection—if they can find the time. It’s six weeks to the start of the calendar New Year; four weeks to the Winter Solstice, which some of us view as the true New Year, and as the gap closes on the future, reflecting on the past could prove a worthy endeavor.

The source of this week’s planetary power is a Jupiter/Saturn trine, with Mars in the middle, forming a sextile to both—a completely positive configuration that fosters confidence. Mars symbolizes energy, and it thrives on activity. Mars is currently in Virgo, where its efforts can be focused on the diligent and methodical attention to detail that’s required to achieve excellence in any field. Jupiter represents the principle of expansion and good fortune. Currently in Cancer, Jupiter’s presence is focused on an abundance of feelings, particularly the longing to belong—it’s all about home and family. Saturn signifies concentration, and as it transits Scorpio, its perseverance can be felt through the desire to probe the depths of any obstacles that might prohibit knowledge and understanding.

Be prepared to work harder—yes, even harder than you already are—and also anticipate that exertion to feel good. Embrace it. If you hit a snag, try to breathe through it. And above all be grateful for the opportunity to move some energy in a positive, productive way. Many of us have made great progress this year, but some of those efforts required an enormous exertion of will. This week, all efforts are supported—a welcome change, and for some, a great relief. And even though there probably won’t be time, try to spend some of this positive energy on acts of kindness. You can never be too busy for compassion and its beneficial effects.

If you know your Ascendant and/or your Moon Sign, read that, too.

Aries March 21-April 19
If you’ve wanted to change your professional paradigm but didn’t know how to do it or have lacked the strength to implement a plan, the time is now. I’m not suggesting you change jobs or career path. I am advising you to put necessary and productive systems in motion, especially methods that will increase everyone’s productivity.

Taurus April 20-May 20
I know you’re probably tired of hearing the same old song, but the emphasis continues to be on relationships, specifically how you communicate your feelings to significant others, personal or professional. Remember that when you’re committed to kindness, honest, heartfelt criticism often loses its edge, which can lead to positive results.

Gemini May 21-June 21
Good progress and tangible gains can be made if you stay committed to a strong vision. Try not to succumb to negative thinking or resort to covert shenanigans. Do whatever it takes to stay on track, but make sure your actions are ethical—anything else will boomerang.

Cancer June 22-July 22
You are the center of attention—you couldn’t hide if you wanted to—and that means you’re setting the tone as well as the pace. This is a tremendous opportunity to use your superpowers for the good. Get clear about the message you want to send, and then hone your intentions, making every effort to align thought, word, and deed.

Leo July 23-August 22
You can make solid financial gains, but to do that, you have to be willing to spend the requisite time, even if that means declining several invitations to social engagements. I know…it’s a sacrifice…but the rewards could be worth your efforts.

Virgo August 23-September 22
Your day-to-day interactions have the potential the deliver important information. Pay close attention to conversations with friends and family, but also casual interactions that may not appear to be significant at first glance. You’ll be amazed by what you’ll learn.

Libra September 23-October 22
This is a rare moment to make great strides toward greater financial security, so take advantage of the opportunities that present themselves. You don’t have to take the first offer, but even if you do, you won’t be disappointed in the long-term benefits.

Scorpio October 23-November 21
You’re in a prolonged period of true confessions, and while I know revealing your feelings isn’t necessarily your strong suit, at least reveal them to yourself. Once you know what you’re feeling, you can decide whether it’s wise to share your feelings with others.

Sagittarius November 22-December 21
Seize the career moment and give your ambitions free reign. Yes…you heard it here…stay focused on your professional aspirations and do whatever it takes to concentrate your efforts. No successful project is built in a day, but there are some days that actually afford an opportunity to witness progress.

Capricorn December 22-January 19
Interactions with friends, family, and significant others have the potential to resolve previously divisive issues, especially if you’re willing to set aside your pride and do what it takes to create harmony. Make the effort and give peace a chance, even if you can’t see the immediate benefit.

Aquarius January 20-February 18
You have a chance to actualize your vision and turn it into concrete reality—you only need to be clear about what it is you want to create. Use the vital energy of the week to gain greater clarity about what would bring you deep and lasting personal as well as professional satisfaction.

Pisces February 19-March 20
It’s about “right” effort in all your relationships, including and most importantly your relationship with yourself. Take an inventory, but make it a positive one. That’s right; accentuate the positive and let that emphasis neutralize the long litany of self-judgment. You might discover there’s a lot to be happy about.
