Chris Miles:
I like to paint in the tradition of the Old Masters and I study their work a lot. I’m also attracted to bright colors and I like to have a “magical” atmosphere in my paintings. I am currently working on a series of landscape paintings inspired by the Wasatch area.
The painting on the cover, “Muse,” was purchased by the Springville Museum and can be seen there when they have their permanent collection on view, usually once a year or so. I currently have some original paintings at the 15th Street Gallery (15th East at 15th South). I also have work, including prints, at Utah Artist Hands and Alpine Art.
