We feel the effects of a lunar eclipse on the 3rd and a solar eclipse on the 19th. Both occur during Pisces, and this can have a detrimental effect on financial markets and terrorism problems.

The cards also reflect restriction and the realization that sacrifice may be necessary to create an energy shift. The eclipses and energy pattern of this month indicate a terrible drain of energy and resources.

We will look at surrendering the old pattern to conserve energy greatly needed in other areas. This may be a moment when all attempts may feel futile, and we realize the time has passed, making change in the manner we wanted impossible. There will be indecision about when to retreat and regroup. Confidence will feel undermined, and all action will feel frozen and blocked.

At this time it is important to understand that energy levels are low and strain is being put on all resources. It is time to tighten the purse strings and cut back on excessive spending of both money and energy. In this moment no outward progress is possible, so an inward journey would serve you well.

Examine old habits, and adjust your tactics and outmoded thinking. Only new approaches have a chance of success. Action now is unlikely. In the process of death (whether metaphorical or literal) comes an opportunity to open to the intuitive and magical self that understands and accepts that letting go of old perceptions is necessary and proper now.

Do not allow your longing for change to be suffocated by feelings of apathy.

Be like the flow of water. Lao Tzu says: "The way of the Tao is a watercourse way. It moves like water. What is the movement of water? A river? A stream? The movement has a few beautiful things about it. One, it always moves towards the depth, it always searches for the lowest ground. Two, It is non-ambitious: it never hankers to be the first, it wants to be the last."

Now is the time to let go of the idea of being unique, exceptional, extraordinary. Let go of your ego idea. Ambition always tries to move uphill. Allow yourself to move downhill and find a spot where you can just flow. As you let go, you will uncover true strength and meaning within.

People are afraid of those who know themselves. They carry a certain power and energy about them. Those who truly know themselves cannot be enslaved by others' beliefs or opinions. Those who understand themselves can become an upsetting force to society's structures and patterns.

This is what upsets the masses of humanity, other cultures, and societies. Masses do not want to be disturbed, even if they are in misery and pain. They are accustomed to the mental processes that create suffering. Anyone not in pain is suspect to them and judged as bad and wrong. Those in suffering use righteousness to inflict pain to make others miserable like them.

Righteousness can be a way to justify the pain endured in life. Thus, pain becomes a proof of strength.

In March we all need to work on becoming the enlightened one. When  enlightened, you will not belong to anybody. No organization confines you, no community defines you, no society empowers you, and no nation represents you.

This month allow the innocence of life to live you fully. The qualities of wisdom and acceptance then expand the ever-changing wonder of your life. Allow that to move and motivate your actions.
