March 21-27 — Love triangle

By Christopher Renstrom

I started seeing this guy in September, 2008. I felt a real connection to him, almost like I knew what he was thinking and doing before he was aware of it himself. Unfortunately I became aware “psychically” that I was involved in a love triangle. He has been in a relationship with another woman. They have been together since late 2007. He has been bouncing back and forth between us ever since she and I found out about each other in September 2009. The problem is I can’t seem to let him go and he can’t seem to let her go. My DOB: 4/20/68; His DOB: 3/17/63; Her DOB: 9/4/79. I live in Florida.

If you want a traditional relationship then move on. Otherwise you will have to do some heavy soul searching. The reason he won’t give her up—any more than he would give you up—is because he wants to be with both of you. He was born with his Ruling Planet, Jupiter, conjunct the Sun in his horoscope. I call this the “Big Love” planetary signature. This could make him a philanderer, but it sounds like he enjoys forming relationships with more than one partner. When I examine your three charts together, it’s interesting to see how he found just the right women to do this with.

You and the Virgo woman were both born with the Moon in Aquarius. Your Moons conjoin his Venus and Saturn conjunction, which is also in Aquarius, so neither of you is going to win him over. Aquarius is an air sign and air signs describe the three levels of relationships. Gemini rules siblings, Libra rules partnerships, and Aquarius rules community. Aquarians naturally think in terms of the overall group, which is why if you’re going to date an Aquarian then you better be ready to share him with his friends, co-workers, ex-spouses and even ex-in-laws.

The Moon describes your emotional comfort level. When you have your Moon in Aquarius—like you and the Virgo woman do—then this idea of sharing isn’t quite the deal breaker that it would be in other horoscopes. These Moon conjunctions often appear in the horoscopes of wives and secretaries who both share the same man but in different contexts. This works when boundaries are clearly drawn, but it can get complicated when the boundaries are blurred. Had you and the Virgo woman met under different circumstances you’d probably be friends.

So what does this mean in the long run? Well, it all depends on what sort of relationship you want. As a Taurus with Ruling Planet Venus in Aries, I think that there will always be a part of you that will want to win this guy over. The problem is that even if you did wrest him away, he would still go look for somebody else. Triangulation is in his cosmic DNA. Your other option is to have an “open relationship” with him. It’s not everybody’s cup of tea, but that’s the way his horoscope is wired. It all depends on what kind of connection you truly feel with him and if that’s worth building a relationship on.
