Event Description

It’s that time of year again, for Summer in a Jar! These workshops, organized by Urban Food Connections of Utah and Slow Food Utah, provide everything you need to preserve all your tastiest, freshest summer produce. The workshops are a part of Eat Local Utah, programming to educate the public about the importance of supporting local farmers and food, leading up to Eat Local Week during September 8th-15th, 2018. All classes start at 6 pm, $15 per person per class. September’s theme is “Salsa & Sauces.” You will go home with 1 jar of canned goodness. Major thanks to Harmon’s for generously providing the workshop space as well as appetizers for attendees.
