As a closing to his exhibition, Parallax Distance, Jibade-Khalil Huffman will debut a new lecture performance and screening. Over the past decade, as a corollary to his practice as a visual artist, Huffman has presented a number of text-based performances, mostly concerned with identity, cinema, and hip-hop. The Record serves as a kind of preface to this reckoning of the past decade.
