CHaRM (Collection of Hard to Recycle Materials)

We’re so pleased to announce the return of our CHaRM (Collection of Hard to Recycle Materials) events! Join the URA on Saturday morning, October 9th for this drop-off recycling collection event. Please come prepared by pre-sorting and cleaning your recyclable materials in advance. We’ll be in the south parking lot of the Salt Lake County building from 9am-1pm. Suggested minimum donation is $5 per drop-off.

Show off your reusable masks! We are requiring masks for all volunteers and participants at this CHaRM. Help us keep our volunteers safe so we are able to continue future CHaRMs.

PLEASE NOTE: URA’s list of accepted materials has changed. Review the dropdown lists on our website to review what we are currently able to recycle and to help you prepare your recyclables in advance for a smooth drop-off. While many markets have returned and we have even added new items to the list, there are still some materials that we are unable to collect at this time. Most notably, we are currently unable to collect any styrofoam.
