Ask the Astrologer: June 6-12 — Seven months to success

By Christopher Renstrom

When will my finances, love life, career, and health turn around? I am having a very very difficult time. My name is Desiree and I was born September 10, 1957 at 12:49 AM.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having a difficult time, but if you can hang in there for another seven months then you will see things finally turn around in your favor.

The planet that is getting the roughest treatment right now in your horoscope is the Moon. The Moon describes what you feel about yourself to be true. Of all the planets we have to work with in Astrology, the Moon is the most intimately connected to our emotional life, our memories, our body, our family, and our roots. This makes it highly sensitive and responsive to any change in your environment. If someone walks into the room in a bad mood then it’s the lunar part of you that will be the first to feel it—even if this person didn’t say anything. On one hand this makes you incredibly insightful and prescient and that’s good; but the downside is that you can’t always tell the difference between fact and feeling. When you have the Moon in Pisces like you do, then your psychic nerve-endings are exposed 24/7.

You were born with the Moon at 29 degrees Pisces which is a big deal because the 29th degree of any sign is considered to be a critical degree. When you add to this that you were born under a Full Moon and that the Moon is also conjunct your midheaven then it makes perfect sense that you would be feeling like your life is going to hell in a handbasket these days—especially when you have three heavy-hitter planets like Jupiter, Saturn, and Uranus passing back and forth over this critical degree (either by conjunction or opposition) from now through January 4, 2011.

So what’s going on? You are coming to the end of 2 ½ year cycle where you had to say good-bye to a lot of things that weren’t working out. This downward spiral culminated on April 26, 2010 when Saturn formed an opposition to Uranus at 28 degrees Pisces. Saturn is the planet of the status quo and Uranus is the planet of revolution and change. In the clash of these two cosmic titans, Uranus would have won out—which means that it’s time to make some big life changes.

But just because you know you should make changes doesn’t mean that you will make them—which is what the next Saturn and Uranus opposition on July 26, 2010 is all about. This is when you’ll see that you simply can’t stay where you are. Whether it’s a toxic relationship, a dead-end career or a negative mindset that keeps telling you that you can’t do the things you want to do—July 26, 2010 is when you finally decide to take action.

This action bears fruit on January 4, 2011 when Jupiter forms its last conjunction to Uranus at 27 Pisces. This will give you the final push you need to step over the threshold into your new life—and with this upswing in spirits comes an upturn in fortunes.
